How did the Rogue Fitness Legends do in the 2019 Crossfit Open?

How Did The Rogue Fitness “Legends” Do In The 2019 Crossfit Open?

If you’re a fan of Crossfit then you’ve probably been following up with all of this year’s sanctioned events to keep track on who’s going to the 2019 Crossfit Games or not.

You’re also probably pretty excited for perhaps the biggest, most stacked, sanctional of the year- The Rogue Invitational. Not only will it have the top 10 male and female finishers from the 2018 Crossfit Games but it also will showcase a unique Legends” competition.

This Legends competition will include retired Crossfit Games athletes that previously were consistently at the top of individual competition.

Just because they’re retired however, does not mean they let themselves go. Almost all of the Legends participated in this year’s Crossfit Open and still gave most of the world a run for their money.

Obviously their scores in this year’s Open were not as good as past performances, but that is to be expected. All of the athletes above besides Sam Briggs have no plans to compete at the 2019 Crossfit Games so they did not need to train or peak for the Open as they may have before.

Compared to most of the world these are still very respectable scores, especially when you take into account that all but 4 of these athletes would be in master’s divisions.

These legends are going to show up in shape and still put most of the world to shame with their fitness. They may be more entertaining to watch than the main individual competition. We shall see in 10 days.
