Since Crossfit is primarily an endurance sport most of it’s athletes tend to be lighter and leaner.
As a matter of fact none of the top 10 men at the 2019 Crossfit Games even weighed over 200lbs.
At the same time there was not a male finisher over 6’0 until 17th place Lukas Hogberg.

Enter Royce Dunne
Ex Australian Football player Royce Dunne is the head coach at Crossfit Torian in Bowen Hills, Australia as well as being a 3x Crossfit Games athlete (1x Individual, 2x Team).
He also recently has been training with and competing with as part of Team Crossfit Mayhem Independence.

Not only is he the biggest athlete in the sport, but he is also the strongest.

Back at the 2018 Crossfit Games Dunne even took 1st place in the “Crossfit Total” event which tested athletes on their max back squat, max strict press, and max deadlift.
Royce Dunne took 1st with a total of 1255 pounds broken down like this:
- 470lb Back Squat
- 220lb Strict Press
- 565lb Deadlift
