Just like the previous 2 weeks let’s take a look at some of the more interesting stats that arose from the final week of the 2020 Crossfit Open.

All 5 women from last year’s Crossfit Games finished the Open in the top 20 worldwide (Toomey: 1st, Wells: 9th, Adams: 10th, Davidsdottir: 14th, Pearce: 16th)

and only 2 men from last year’s Games finished in the top 50 (Adler: 1st, Ohlsen: 6th)


The heaviest lift for a man in 21.4 was 365lbs / 166kg and 303 worldwide men lifted over 300lbs / 136kg


The heaviest lift for a woman in 21.4 was 242lbs / 110kg and 368 worldwide women lifted over 200lbs / 91kg


Heaviest lift for a man over 65 years old was 180lbs / 82kg

Heaviest lift for a woman over 65 years old was 125lbs / 57kg

The fastest time for a man in 21.3 was 7:37 and only 14 men worldwide were able to finish under 8:00


The fastest time for a woman in 21.3 was 7:37 and only 9 women worldwide were able to finish under 8:00


All 3 Panchik brothers finished the Open in the top 30 worldwide (Scott: 2nd, Saxon: 4th, Spencer: 30th)


For the 2nd year in a row a Canadian man won the Open (Adler)


Toomey-Orr wins the Open for the 1st time in her career


Rich Froning finishes 5th overall at age 33
